As a homebound bass player, struggling to scoop up an Ibanez copy and a 10W squawk amp has always been pain in the ass. The amp in question would be a cheaply made 10″ speaker driven by capacitors on printed circuit board. It would just sound boxy as hell, have very little or no headroom at all, a gain channel that sounded like a bag of mosquitos. So, since I am no longer an angry teenager, I apparently had been looking for much more than just a simple practice amp, and VOX finally filled my “amateur package” niche with the Adio Air BS!
正直今までは「ベーアンなんかなんでも良い」と、しかもどうせ自宅練習用として使うつもりだし、選べる種類もそんな広くないだろうと、まさかギターアンプほど細かく調べる必要もないと思っていました。という訳で、最初はなんとなく1. Blackstar Fly3、 2. Fender Rumble15、 3. Orange Crush 25Bの三つの中で決めようとしていました。結局、３ワットしかないけど蛍光色がファンキーで可愛いという理由だけで、Blaskstar FLY3を購入しました。しかし、なんと届いた時点でアンプの中に入っていた電池の液が漏れていて、涙ながら断念。最初は同じアンプへの交換をしたかったものの、出品者の人が「Blackstar Fly3は元々中に電池が入っている商品なのでまた同じ問題が起こる可能性がある」とのよく分からないことを言っていたので、再び検索中偶然見つかったのがこのVOX製の凄いやつ。結論から申し上げますと、使い心地はグッド。全般結構満足しております。
“아 베이스 앰프가 그게 그거지 뭘”. 전 지금까지 그렇게 생각했었어요. 더군다나 공연을 할것도 아니고, 집에서 치기만 하려고 했거든요. 그런데 이 앰프를 산뒤로는 다시 스테이지에 서고 싶어지더군요. 최근에 모델링 앰프들이 참 넘치듯 많은데, 가격은 34만원대로 좀 쎄지만 이 정도로 다재다능하다면 저는 불만 없습니다. 일단 무엇보다 이 조그만 사이즈에 50와트!인데다가 (3인치 스피커가 두개 내장), Wide라는, 스테레오 사운드를 한층 더 돋보여주게 하는 신기술과 더불어, 별도 어플까지 동원할 경우 앰프 시뮬레이션은 총17개, 이펙터도 총19개나 사용 가능합니다. Bluetooth나 오디오 플레이어 같은 기능들은 요즘 추세에 맞춰 당연히 지원되죠.

So, what do you reckon?
Pros
- Not only great for practicing, as it only weighs 3kg but still pumps blasting 50W, you can easily transport for gigging or collaborating.
- The speakers are pointing diagonally upward, so the output reaches your ears directly to put you in the sweet spot.
- Any unwanted cabinet resonance is prevented, since the speakers are totally separated from the rear cabinet.
- Offers 11 types of amp models & 8 effects.
- “Tone Room” the app is available for even more amp models and effects.
Cons
- The price (around US$300). Yep, it is a bit pricey if you aren’t using all the features.
- The Built- In Tuner isn’t really that inspiring.
Overall, I’m happy with its wide range of sounds, awesome tones, compact size and stylish looks. Way more professional than I may have expected. The clean tones are nuanced and roomy, while the gain simulations are searing. With proprietary stereo field emulation at the push of the “Wide” button, it is easy to get lost in all that headroom, just like it is the real thing. Add to this the fact that “Tone Room” app opens up a further list of models, so the Adio becomes a veritable library of tonality, classic and otherwise. Sure, you can spend much less for other brands, but the Adio Air BS is much more than just a practice amp, if you take advantage of all it has to offer.
いかがでしょうか？こんな小さいけれど、なんと５０Wなんですよ？内蔵スピーカーが二個である上に、注目すべき機能”Wide”ボタンを押すと、VOX社独自のステレオ・サウンドが体験できます。アンプモデルとエフェクトもこれだけ入ってれば十分。”Tone Room”というアプリと併用することで更にその数は増えますし、なにより見た目も可愛い、重量も軽いから、ライブの時運搬が便利ですね。個人的に唯一の気になっていたことは、値段なのです。他のメーカーさんに比べて正直今時のミニベースアンプって１万円台も多いじゃないですか。要するに、沢山付いている様々な機能をちゃんと”一個一個ちゃんと使いこなせなくても良い””そんな色々機能など要らない”との方には、単純に高いと思いますね。とにかく僕は満足！
어떠신지요? 미니 베이스 앰프로써 이정도면 입문자 분들에게는 충분하고도 남는 스펙이구요, 프로 연주자분들도 무난하게 쓰시기에 손색 없을것 같습니다(50와트니까 카페 같은곳이라면 공연하기에도 문제없을것). 다만, 다른 브랜드들에 비해 가격대가 좀 비싸고, 이펙터를 그렇게 여러 종류 사용하지 않는 분이라면 좀 필요 이상으로 이것저것 기능이 많다고 생각하실 수도 있겠습니다. 개인적으로 전 아무래도 기타가 아밍같은 여러가지 표현이 가능하니까 , 아직은 베이스 보다는 기타가 좀 더 재미있지만, 그리 튀지 않으면서 모든 음악의 리듬파트를 묵묵히 담당하는 중저음의 복병, 꼭 없으면 안되는 베이스의 매력도 무시 못한다 생각합니다. 같은 기종으로 기타용 앰프도 판매 중이네요. 어찌됐건 일단 만족입니다!
